14th Annual Kurling for Kids Tournament

Join us for a fun day of curling and contribute to

charity at the same time

The 2012 edition of Kurling for Kids will be our 14th Annual event as a charity fundraiser. Since 1999, we have raised over $1,000,000 for the Montreal Children's & Sainte-Justine's Hospital Foundations. This year's event is taking place at the TMR, Glenmore, Lachine,  St. Lambert, Montreal West, Pointe Claire, Otterburn Memorial Legion, Baie D'Urfe, Royal Montreal, Mont-Bruno and Longue Pointe Curling Clubs.

 Our goal this year is to raise $210,000 which will be evenly divided to purchase critical needs equipment for the Montreal Children's and Sainte Justine's hospitals.  $105,000 will go to the Montreal Children's Hospital for a Physiological Monitor, a Cardiac Monitor, and a Kurling for Kids Play Area in the Cardiology Department.  $105,000 will go to Sainte Justine's Hospital for Cryotherapy Cardiology Equipment. 

 
We are anticipating a full house again this year so start planning your foursomes as the registration begins Friday, February 17th, 2012. Games will be held between 11am and 7:00 p.m. followed by a supper, trophies and door prizes. This bonspiel is open to everyone! Whether you're an experienced curler or an absolute beginner, come and join the fun! This year we will be counting on you once again to raise funds through sponsorships from friends, family and co-workers.

Sponsor sheets will be available for all participants to collect donations for the Montreal Children's and St. Justine's Hospital Foundations. Prizes will also be raffled off and the more you collect in sponsorships, the better your chances are of winning!

Where : TMR, Glenmore, Lachine, St.Lambert, Montreal West, Pointe Claire, Otterburn Legion Memorial, Baie D'Urfe, Royal Montreal, Mont Bruno and Longue Pointe Curling Clubs
Supper and lunch is included.
Cost : $40 (per curler) which includes all of your curling, lunch, supper, door prizes and trophies.  Each curler is required to raise a minimum of $150 in sponsorship. Brooms and sliders will be available at the curling club at no extra cost. Feel free to sign up as part of a team of four or as an individual.
