Once again a great day was had by all who participated,
volunteered or just came by to watch the festivities at the TMR Curling Club.
With this year’s amount of $132,000 we are no proud to say that in the past 10
years, Kurling for Kids has raised over a half a million dollars for the
Sainte-Justine’s and Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. Over 80 curlers
took part in this year's edition of Kurling for Kids at the TMR Curling Club.
Once again this year we opened up the ice to the children
in the morning and it was great to see so many kids out there having a great
time on the ice.
Winners of this year's event at TMR included:
1st Place
Sheet Happens - Bernie Brodeur, Robert Furtado, Kunal Saha
and Robert Porco
2nd Place
Target Practice – Genevieve Riverin, Guy de Carufel, Debbie
Soriano and Louis-Michel Malouin
3rd Place
Otis ‘R Us – Danny Menary, Bobby Slatford, Bob Laidler and
Don MacKenzie
A huge thanks go out to everyone involved in making this
event the success that it was - especially to all of the people who raised
money for the foundations.
